AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING AND WEIGHING OF MIXED ABRASIVE
For the production of cutting and grinding wheels

General Description
The system is designed for the automatic dispensing and weighing of abrasive and binder mixtures used in the production of cutting and grinding wheels. It ensures high precision, repeatability, and dynamic process control, guaranteeing:

The machine is a bench-top unit with a compact and robust structure, entirely built in AISI 304 stainless steel, with IP65 protection rating, and designed for complete washability at each grit change.

Loading hopper: 10 kg capacity with refill grid
Mixing tank equipped with a motorized agitator and inverter control, ensuring homogeneous mixture during operation. The dispensing process is managed by a high-precision polymer screw feeder, driven by a brushless servomotor that guarantees volumetric repeatability and accurate delivery. An electronic balance with Ethernet IP connection automatically verifies, at each cycle, the correct amount of material dispensed compared to the target value.

Operating Sequence:

The operator places the container on the scale, beneath the screw feeder outlet.

The system automatically performs tare.

The automatic abrasive dosing cycle starts.

The system checks the measured weight against the target value.

In case of deviation, the HMI displays a non-conformity message and activates a 2-second acoustic alarm.

All cycle data are automatically stored and can be exported via USB.
