Description

Rotation unit apt for the precision wrapping of non-woven rollers with tape. The application area is composed of a steel-made frame hosting the mandrel to securely hold one end of the non-woven roller, and an Adjustable Counter-Point. The latter is positioned at the opposite end of the mandrel, and supports the other end of the non-woven roller. It is adjustable to accommodate rollers of different lengths. Rotating Mechanism: The structure that holds the non-woven roller is capable of rotating. This rotational movement is essential for even tape wrapping. The rotation can be driven by an electric motor or manual turning mechanism, depending on the design of the machine. Tape Unit: holds the tape supply, ensuring it is readily available for wrapping. The tape holder unit is mounted on a guide system that allows it to move longitudinally along the length of the non-woven roller. This ensures that the tape is applied evenly across the entire surface of the roller. As the machine operates, the tape holder unit releases tape and begins its movement along the guide. Tension control: a clutch consistently controls tension of the tape in order to achieve the desired outer diameter.
