Description
Stemming from the SMA-SRM project, the SMA-SRC model is the best value-for-money machine on the market for the slitting and rewinding of master jumbos. The very robust carpentry of the machine is constituted of a seamless main body, machine-tooled on both 50mm thick sides. It is possible to install either a scissor-cut or a pressure-cut unit; the advantage of the scissor-cut version is appreciated when slitting poly-cotton-based material, as it does not create filaments that notoriously are present on the rewound reels, therefore allowing to eliminate the process of burning them afterwards.
