Description
Semi-automatic cutting and forming machine for shaft-mounted flap wheels. Diameter range from 20 to 80 mm. The flap pack is cut lengthways, then manually formed via 360° rotation. Flaps are therefore distributed consistently along the wheel inside diameter. The machine is robust, reliable, and easy to set up thanks to an extremely quick format change. SMA-TFWA/EC features a simpler electro-pneumatic unloading unit. The unit is equipped with an IPC running the RTLinux operating system. Communication components and axes operate via an EtherCAT module. The machine features Industry 4.0 technologies.
