AUTOMATIC CUTTING MACHINE FOR SHAFT-MOUNTED FLAP WHEELS FEATURING A KAWASAKI ROBOT

Description

Automatic cutting and forming machine for shaft-mounted flap wheels. Diameter range goes from 20 to 80mm. The flap pack is cut lengthways, then formed via 360° rotation. Flaps are hence distributed consistently along the wheel inside diameter. The machine is robust, reliable and easy to set up thanks to an extremely quick format change. The unit is equipped with an IPC that implements RTLinux operating system. Communication elements and axes work via EtherCAt module. The machine features Industry 4.0 technologies. SMA-TFWA/RS007N, featuring a Kawasaki robot for the automatic unloading of flap packs into trays.
