SLITTING/REWINDING MACHINE FOR ABRASIVE FILM

The SMA-SRE/FM is a precision slitter rewinder designed for the longitudinal cutting and rewinding of abrasive film into rolls of different widths.

The machine uses a shear cutting system, specifically designed to ensure precise, clean and consistent cutting throughout the entire production cycle.

The knife holders are repositionable, allowing the operator to configure the machine according to the required cutting widths and to quickly adapt production to different roll sizes.

Particular attention has been given to material tension control during unwinding and rewinding. The SMA-SRE/FM is equipped with electromagnetic powder brakes and clutches, providing smooth and accurate control of torque and abrasive film tension.
