Description

Slitting and rewinding machine for Jumbo rolls made of abrasive cloth. Working capacity is unprecedented; currently it is the most powerful machine for the slitting of Jumbo rolls. It is composed of 3 main areas: unwinding unit, slitting and rewinding unit, control board. The unwinding unit is a thick frame, featuring a fixed part and a mobile one, processed via machining center in its entirety, with enough space for the operator to cross from one side to the other. A TRIPLEX unwinding system allows easy repositioning of the jumbo roll in 3 positions. Maximum diameter of the Jumbo can be 1700mm; maximum width is 1750mm, maximum weight is 2800kg. The main body of the machine is made of 2 high-quality S355 carbon steel sides, cut via oxy-cutting process, then stress-relieved, and processed via machining center. No welding applied; parts are connected via bolts and ring nuts. Every component is plugged into the other. The electrical board features components by ABB, Siemens and Schneider Electric. PLC is S7-1200 model by Siemens, operator panel is TP900 model, 9″ for data export. Intuitive programming, according to 4.0 industry High-definition display for control and storing of cutting operations. Operator can check presence of material defects.

*Thanks to installed power and specific re-start operations, blades will not have any camber angles. The machine allows to restart operations and move the unwinder without any problem.
