FLAP DISC MACHINE
Description
SMA-TFDS is the most advanced machine for the production of flap discs. Its frame is made of carbon steel, entirely processed via CNC machine tool. Total weight is around 6000kgs. The heart of this machine is the innovative Fly-Tech cutting head with double-shaft and hydrostatic lubrication, controlled by a high-inertia brushless motor. Lubrication is via high-pressure oil. Material feeding is performed via two rubber wheels, controlled by two low-inertia motors (from military sector), thus ensuring that cutting speed be 50 flaps per second. The cutting head is automatically positioned on the disc to make by means of 4 motorised guides. Axes: X/Y/Z/(W –9° > +18°)
